Drew Lannoye standing in a grey suit with a green tie

Hello! My name is Drew Lannoye and I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2016. During this time I earned a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education in Mathematics and a coaching concentration.

I currently hold a grade 6-12 teaching license in the state of Wisconsin and earned a Master's degree from Augsburg University in 2019. I have been tutoring full time for the past six years.

My greatest joy while tutoring math is seeing students gain confidence in themselves and develop their critical thinking skills. These concepts, while useful in a math setting, pay great dividends in other classes and in everyday life too!

Testimonials

  • "Drew is a superb tutor. He is very skilled at explaining complex material and patient when my daughter becomes frustrated with that hard math problem. Drew is always well prepared for lessons and my daughter has accomplished a lot in a short period of time. My daughter is making progress with every lesson. "

  • "There are many tutors you can find who know the ins and outs of math. However if you want one who goes above and beyond what is required and really cares deeply not only about your child understanding the concepts and striving to do well, but is just personally vested in them and understands how they learn, then Drew is for you. Our son has worked with Drew for over a year now and I just can’t recommend him highly enough. "

    -Reema

  • "Drew is an exceptional math tutor. Over the past two years, my daughter has experienced remarkable growth and a significant boost in confidence while working with him. Drew has a talent for explaining concepts in a way that truly resonates with her, making even challenging material feel approachable. She truly appreciates having Drew as both a resource and a mentor, especially when facing difficult topics. His patience and clear guidance have played an important role in her academic success."

    -Nancy

  • "Drew is fantastic! After reviewing many tutors for an Algebra I & II tutor, Drew stood out. He has not disappointed. Drew has a great balance of making each session productive, but also fun and engaging. For my son, a 9th grader, that was the combination I was looking for. My son was having trouble understanding some concepts and his confidence started to decrease, but after a lesson or two with Drew, my son understood the concepts with ease and applied them with confidence. We have now been working with Drew regularly for almost a year, and my son is getting an A+ in his Algebra II class. We believe working with Drew has made a big difference in my son's math experience in ninth grade."

    -Ryan

  • "My daughter needed help filling in some gaps for her SAT that were not covered well enough during her normal course work. Drew was so helpful and provided a lot of confidence to my daughter. I would highly recommend Drew."

    -Sean

  • "My child started working with Drew in March of 2023 and their math scores went from C's to A's within two weeks. Really nothing more needs to be said. So, we're happy that Drew continues to have time in his schedule for our child to this very day."
